Quartz is a crystal resource that is relatively common. It is used in the smelting structure to produce glass and can be used to produce Silicon at a chemistry lab. The resource will appear below the surface in caves where it will grow from walls and the ground.

Where To Find Quartz

Quartz is found in caves below the surface of the planet. It appears in large crystal like structures that are growing from the walls, roof and floor of the caves you are exploring. It is not the most common resource but when you find some, it will typically be in a large amount which should provide you with enough resources to do you for some time.

Quartz can also be generated from the centrifuge and also traded for the following items.
